Freeze Motion (Shutter Speed Priority)
To get the freeze motion effect in this picture, we needed to set the F-stop to 2.8, and the shutter speed to 1/2000 of a second. The high shutter speed allowed the camera to pick up a small amount of the image without catching the motion, and the low F-stop let it not become underexposed. |
Motion Blur (Shutter Speed Priority)
To get the motion blur effect in this photo, we had to set the F-stop to 16 and the shutter speed to 1/60 of a second. The slower shutter sped allows more time for the image to change the picture, giving it the motion blur effect, while the high F-stop let the image keep the correct exposure. |
